    First off last night I bought a HO scale steam engine that looks like one of those used by Studebaker The seller's grandfather owned a Studebaker Dealership.

    Now for the good part.
    Remember those old alt.auto.Studebaker posts? Guess what, they are ALL still on line.

    Tonight I got a craized e-mail from some woman over a post I made on April 19th, 1999 at 3:14 AM. All 18000 plus posts I made on all alt sites are still on line. Word of caution, you will never know when a post that is close to 10 years old will pop up and bite you in the...

      As if guilt over things said and done in the past weren't good enough...we have to have the internet to remind of us of our mistakes forever. Whatever happened to your life flashing before your eyes only at the end?? I'm sure someone will write and thank you for something you helped them with 10 years ago, as well, Bill. Remember, 1000 atta boys to balance one mistake!

        I've tried to make exactly this point repeatedly! When I post I try to think not only about the current discussion and those who are looking in and reading but not posting (lurkers), but also how what I write will appear to future readers tomorrow, or next month, or in 10 years or more.
