  • Connie question

I was drooling, I mean, browsing the Connestoga web page and came across this picture:

I'm curious, what are the silver rings on the rear above the tail lights? Love to have one like it. Love the colour even![][^]

Yes, they are backup lights. And they do work.

I'm not positive yet but they may be comming off...and if they do come off, they will be for sale.

I own this car now. The guy I bought it from owned it during these pictures. These pictures were published on a big Studebaker book. Sorry I don't remember the title. It's currently missing all of the fluff parts! It's the third car down on the picture page of the Conestoga site.

Funny Ron...how come you didn't just ask me what the lights were? It was me that asked you the questions about having one yourself in one of the other posts.

I agree, those '54 Wagons (the '56's are my favorite wagons; although I love the '57's too StudeDave. )

Here's Dr. Cade's '54 Commander Conestoga. It was restored quite some time ago. Photo by Rick Courtier.

I have some post cards that show 54 & 56 wagons:

lstude: Nice! In the last one, I see the '56 Wagon, the '55 Sedan, but is that another Stude just above the wagon's roofline? It's red/white. It also looks like it could be a '57 F*rd.
