  • Not Too Bad!

We had a nice turnout of Studebakers at our local car show (Cruise The Gorge) last month. I counted a total of 8 out of the 300 or so cars in attendance-pretty good considering I frequently see only 2 or 3 other Studes (if that many) at much larger events.

What was really cool is that those 8 cars went home with 6 trophies! That's a 75% win ratio in a show in which only 15% of all the cars in attendance took home awards. Then the next day at the smaller "second chance" show a few miles South, 3 of the 4 Studebakers there took home awards, including best-in-show.

    No too bad!
