True, but if the purchaser uses the new eBay mastercard, they will get 15% back! [}]

I think you just insulted the morons. At every swap or car show I go to I run into people who are just ignorant of the resources available to people in this club. I bought a Lark once with an excellent 259 engine for $100.00 because the owner could not find a flywheel ring gear. SASCO had them hanging on the wall.

Proof that there are Studebaker owners who are not members of SDC!
(Any SDC member would know of SASCO through their ads in TW).

But look on the bright side, they're not CASOs...if they're willing to spend almost 3 times the retail price for a part!

Last SASCO price was $170, and they ran out a year or two ago. They WERE $75, back in the good old days.

Maybe we are talking about different parts, but SASCO lists the 1342512 grille panel for 62 and 63 Larks for $92.90 and the 1338128 (dual headlamp) and 1339213 (single headlamp) grill panels for the '61 Lark for $89.90. They show stock on all. In fact, in the May '08 TW, they had an ad for these...$55 for the 62-63 and $30 for the 61.

OK, my bad, it's the 59-60 panel that is NLA I'll have Dennis add that one to his ebay list.

Last year, at the SDC Int'l Meet, I bought a '59 grille panel at SASCO for $60. Now, I know I got a bargain.
