  • Studebaker Motor Co.

Sorry if this is old news, and it probably is. But it is new to me.

What's the worthiness of this company? Anyone know the guy that owns and runs it?

The website looks really nice, nice enough to raise one's hopes for the future.

You're right, it has been talked about before.

Ok, at least all of this was before my time. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

I got a call from an angry woman wanting the fax number of the SDC to warn the SDC that the Studebaker Motor Company stole her idenity.

She sounded very confused, upset, and distraught.

One caveat, she did not speak English correctly and I could have misunderstood her, but all she kept refering to was the Studebaker MOTOR Company.

When I said the SDC had nothing to do with them she hung up saying, "never mind, nobody cares". Weird call.

Looks like a college web marketing assignment. Take a defunct company and develop a contemporary web site.

I think it would be pretty cool if it was really going to happen.

He should get together with the guy shilling the Chinese three wheeler (as a Studebaker), and get Billy Martin to do the infomercial with that Sham-Wow guy....

                If you read his story

                http://www.studebakermotorcompany.com/ceomessage.phtml

you learn that he seems to be a level-headed entity. Not like the guy selling the Chinese "Studebakers".

Will anything come of it? Quien Sabe?
