  • Mr. Biggs' mother passes away

Have been corresponding with Bob recently and was saddened to hear that his mother passed away this last Tuesday. I asked permission to post this, knowing that we'd all like to extend our condolences.

Regardless the age or condition of a loved one, or the length of illness, or the amount of relief from illness received from passing on to go home, it never is easy when the time comes. When it's your mother, it's that much harder; because moms are so important for the start of our lives.

It is some consolation that Bob's mother is now well, happy, and free of infirmity and strife.

Rest in Peace, and my condolences.

Thanks to all. Kinda strange - the realization that I'm now the senior representative of our line.

It was tough to lose her, but it was the best thing given how she'd been withering both physically and mentally (especially mentally) the last couple of years.
Ma liked my Studes - thought they were cool - rode in several of them thru the years. She was quite an artist and my sister and me carry that trait forward. Our houses look like a galleries devoted to her handiwork.
She bought me art supplies when I was a wee one and didn't blink an eye when she caught me drawing nudes at an early age. She encouraged my writing right up thru her final days.

She'll join her faithful husband in eternal rest this Saturday. They loved all the decades they spent together and I trust they'll keep on doing so on some other plane.
I'll miss her, naturally, but my theory is that she still lives on this plane so long as there's anyone that carries memories of her. She's got kids, grandkids and great grandkids to carry her memories forth for some years.
              RIP Ma.[|)]

Repeat of the condolences expressed in yesterday's e-mail, Bob. All the best. BP
We've got to quit saying, "How stupid can you be?" Too many people are taking it as a challenge.

                            Ayn Rand:
"You can avoid reality, but you cannot avoid the consequences of avoiding reality."

                            G. K. Chesterton: This triangle of truisms, of father, mother, and child, cannot be destroyed; it can only destroy those civilizations which disregard it.
