Looks like a hard sell to me, given the 2 to photos inside a small garage and the write up.

True, it's not a very good presentation. Usually they're not worth pursuing for one reason or another; what my Dad used to call a "wild goose chase"

But sometimes, weak ads are hiding a diamond-in-the-rough and/or a smoking deal! They can be like panning for gold[]

I just bought a rare car from a tiny ad I didn't even see but was referred to me. It wasn't necessarily a steal, but it was a great deal with lots of NOS parts that no one knew was there.

I don't know much about GHs, but it could be the wrong car in poor shape for way too much money... or a rare, solid, well-protected steal[^]

Hopefully someone here looks into it and lets us know.

I got some info on this car. Tag reads 57H-K7 1147 and all the parts ARE included.

I've been in communication with this seller. More out of curiosity than anything. I asked if he was firm on his price and he came back that he's willing to "talk" with serious prospects. I've got a Ph# if anyone wants to make contact.

Add this one to the you never know category. Some of the older owners/horders may not be the best advertising writers, but great at keeping parts and a solid car forever and just run out of steam one day. Or...gave in to 40 years of nagging for half of the garage.

Denny, I'm not a buyer, but an interested observer; so I'll be looking forward to your report[^]

This guy told me he's had this car for some years, ever since he picked it up at the Harrah's resto facility in Reno. He told me it's a manual shift car W/O PS. Been in storage for 23 years.[|)]

My 1957 Golden Hawk was an overdrive car that did not have either power steering or power brakes, but it did have power seat and power windows. How is that for an unusual combination? The engine number was/is PS3000.
