Thanks for the pictures Bob. I had 2 friends up there at selling models at the toy show. I wish I could have gone.

Friday was a bit sparse, but hot! Saturday I only met one of our chapter members.
I have to say though that the flea market rivaled the Summer Carlisle events I've been to. It was fairly large...

the 60 Hawk in the pictures was mine. Lots of beautiful cars there. Very nice flea market, but most of the stuff was covered because of the rain when I went through. I did see a good bit of studebaker stuff there. A very nice and relaxing show. No competing for trophys. Just sit and chat and enjoy all the entertainment, flea market and the beautiful cars. Looking forward to meeting you in Lancaster.

Anybody got any idea what in the heck Macungie is or: Das Awkscht Fesht 2008 !!!!!!!!!![?]

What State, [Country?!] are we talking about here?

Wonder why we have never heard of it before, like York, Hershey and a couple other of those far East Coast events that hardly anyone West of the Rockies has ever been to? [:0]

          Anybody know who sponsors it?

            Rich,

Macungie is in Pennsylvania, southwest of Allentown. They also have a big truck show there in the middle of June.

Thanks Gary, you know I was half joking, at least I thought it was in the U.S. and probably East Coast. Still don't understand all that German stuff though!

I can't believe that it is STILL ANOTHER PENNSYLVANIA car show/swap meet type event, there must actually be a couple car guys up that way somewhere! Lol!

I guess I need to see if I can find that State sometime, I always wanted to go to Vermont and Maine in the Fall! [^]

Keystone Raffle car is an 1982 Avanti. Anyone want a ticket or two?

                      Hey Bob,

Thanks for taking a picture of Grace, our '54 Commander Starliner. I parked right next to my brother's '50 Hudson Commodore 8.

Sunday morning I moved the cars to take some photos of his and mine with his barn as a background and the pond in the foreground for reflections. Here are two of them:

And here is a shot from late Sunday afternoon. To the right is Grace. The other car is owned by Jack Widmann. Many years ago when we had first gotten our car, my wife and I met Jack in Martinsburg, WVA at an Atlantic Zone meet. I asked him if he would be offended if we copied the color of his car (inside and out) when we restored ours. Some people are funny that way, but Jack didn't mind at all. So here are the "Twins:"

                      Kindest regards,

Alan; Really Beautiful cars! [^] I see Your's is lowered in front (maybe original sagged) and/or Jack's has H.D. springs, which is it, or both? [?]

                          Alan,

I'd love to see that shot of Grace & her reflection on a cover of TW!

Great shot of the two "orphans" too, and the "twins" ain't bad either.[^]
