  • JDP's 1956 3/4 ton truck

    John,

Just saw your truck listed on e-Bay. I must admit, I have never seen turn signals mounted out of the side of the cowl on a "C" cab. What's the story on that?

I'm relatively sure they're just some sort of aftermarket affair

JDP/John - In your list of vehicles you show a "1959 3E truck." I thought that the 3E series were 1957-1958 and that 1959s were 4E series (from someone that has owned both). What do you really have?

John, I did follow the link, but the pictures aren't as clear as your ebay ads are usually....maybe it's just me, or just that red always tends to look funky online

Yeah, John, what do you really have? [8D]

Anyway, that's a nice truck, because it, like mine is from California, so it doesn't have much rust at all. And, it has lots of desirable features: long bed, V8, nice rear wrap-around step bumper, complete interior, eyebrows over doors. I'm estimating it will fetch more than mine cost me, maybe $5-6K.
