  • ebay 1940's spotlight value?

there is a very cool old looking my guess is 40's studebaker spotlight with a plaque says studebaker its under 9 dollars, is it worth it?
Also do you think its 6 volt? and have you ever been able to change a bulb to 12 volt or is it to much trouble?
I don't know how you guys post those links to an idem you see? but here is the number on ebay Spotlight Lamp Item number: 130241222837
If it gos up much more in price I will just watch it and if anyone needs it feel free to bid I don't need it its just unique and cool looking and thought I would do something with it.

Mounting hardware is missing. 6V to 12V swap no problem. If brand is UNITY, pistol grip handle from an other UNITY spot light may work. Glass appears flat, I believe it should have a slight dome shape. Restoration of chrome parts is a consideration not to be over looked. Price: Worth what ever the buyer is willing to pay.

Search on eBay Completed Items for Unity spot light. Most are selling for under $35...with the exception of a few real nice ones OR if you put '57 Chevy in the listing .

I think the value is going to be driven by what it would cost you to restore the light.
Unity is still in business, and you can probably buy that light brand new
(without the little red ball Stude tag, but they might even have that too[])..
