I've thrown a bid on it.

Miscreant Studebaker nut in California's central valley.

      1957 Transtar 1/2ton
      1960 Larkvertible V8
      1958 Provincial wagon
      1953 Commander coupe
      1957 President two door

No deceptive flags to prove I'm patriotic - no biblical BS to impress - just ME and Studebakers - as it should be.

Some good pictures of how the shifter mounts to the overdrive transmission. This goes along well with the other tread about how to mount a floor shift to an overdrive trans. I was surprised that the shift rods are straight.

don't be surprised with this old foxcraft style shifter. They are
only good til the first slightly fast shift.

Maybe somebody could capture the pictures and post them onto that thread? Not me- WAY too annoying on dial-up[|)]

What do you mean by "a little welding"? Does it just require a new bracket to hang it on the transmission or something more serious?

For what its worth, the archives found the drawing(s)for the 62 T86/90 shifter bracket and are running off a copy for me. Now to see what it will take to make one or more
