  • Bill Frick Pics

I friend of mine got in contact with Bill Frick Jr. a few days ago, and Bill Jr. mentioned that there are some Mercedes pics on the web with him, Bill Frick Sr.'s shop, and a Studillac in it. Well fellas, lo and behold I found them. Pretty interesting indeed. I suppose you could call them 'Studillac Factory Photos'. [8D]

That's Bill Jr. in the background in the shop.

You'd be right. The website I found the pics on was a Mercedes SSKL site.

Here's a close up of the Studillac. Note the wire wheels.

Matt, I told you I had a brochure from a Rod & Custom show that I attended in Richmond in 1961 that showed a guy with a Studillac. I finally found the brochure and below is the picture. The show was put on by the Asphalt Angels Car Club in Richmond. This guy was a member. Of course, they mispelled Studillac!

I might be wrong, but I thought all the Studillacs were K bodies. I have an ad for Studillac but I can't find it right now, but they are available on eBay from Walter Miller for $9.99 BIN. Here is the URL.
