  • Avanti Motors Studebaker XUV Lives?

What about the XUT? It looks like plans are still in development:

I thought the XUV was dead in the water, but it looks like there's a prototype XUT, that must mean something.

I know, they aren't Studebaker's[}], but they do carry the Studebaker name and anything that gets the name in the public is just good darn....publicity.

D*mmit, they should have put a Champlike grille on that thing[V].

I couldnt resist, I have visited this site along with the other Studebaker site serveral times over the past couple of years and nothing on them changes. unlike my site that changes at least once a year[)]Anyway tonite I sent a e-mail to one of the four dealers they listed on there corporate page. I hope to see what kind of response I get if any. I'll post it here for everyone to see.

IF any are actually built to sell - and they put a ridiculous enough price tag on them, you know they'll sell a few. Heh - that thing's UGLY. And besides that, Hummer's are on the way out.[xx(]

I don't think it's ugly. The Hummer is ugly. This is reminiscent of the US6 truck cab and hood.

It reminds me of the Lamborhini mega-buck truck they made for rich Arabs back in the 80s.
