    I regret having sold most of the cars (and truck) I have sold. This includes a 63 1/2 Avanti (transition model) R-1 w/air,pw, 4-speed; 47 Commander 5-passenger coupe; '61 Lark convertible; '62 Lark convertible (1990 Keystone raffle car); '66 Avanti with 327/350 engine; '60 1-ton 4WD wrecker (now George Hamlin's); '63 black/black R-2 4-speed Avanti (now Jeff Bradel's); '64 RHD GT Hawk; rust-free '56 Skyhawk (original solid color gold w/od); '76 Avanti, '83 fully-equipped Avanti w/7,000 miles; probably some others I can't remember off-hand. The only ones I don't regret selling were those I bought to re-sell.
    The only one I can remember missing out on was a '57 Golden Hawk. A friend had told me a Studebaker widow in a nearby town had a '56 Golden Hawk she wanted to sell. I wasn't interested in a '56 (then). Later I found that she had sold the car which was a [u]'57</u> Golden Hawk with p/s. p/w, p/b AND factory air for $2,500 to a local gas station owner.

          I don't know for sure, but I think the one at Front Royal is an overdrive. The Boonsboro, MD car was an automatic.
