  • Local score 58 Scotsman

From my son I hear some people local in my area are wondering what happened to a certain 1958 E series scotsman Pickup.
I bought this truck last month. It took one weekend to fix the brakes and put a new coil on the motor and it runs and drives good.
I bought this truck off a long time owner in Port orchard wash.
I think the owners main concern was it got a good home and I believe it has.
I originally owned a 41 pickup for my first vehicle at 14 and have been a studie lover since. My son has inherited his grandfathers r series from my wifes side of the family and is currently restoreing it so I have two studies it my shop now and hopefully enough parts to keep us rolling for some time to come.

Welcome Aboard, Bob! Seems that a fair number of Scottie pickups have survived the years.[^]

No deceptive flags to prove I'm patriotic - no biblical BS to impress - just ME and Studebakers - as it should be.

Cool find! Right off my head, I only know of two other '58 Scotsman pickups extant. One is Tom Molnar's, the other Henry Votel's. I'm sure there are a few others waiting to be found. [8D]
