  • NE Zone Meet

Anyone have the dates and location?

  • #2
    Bill,

In talking with Gary and Jane Ash in South Bend last summer, I know the Ocean Bay Chapter is hosting it. A quick look at the "Events" page here on the SDC website gives the following information:

    Northeast Zone

August 17-19, 2007 SDC Northeast Zone Meet, Sturbridge, Massachusetts, hosted by the Ocean Bay Chapter. Host Hotel: Sturbridge Host Hotel and Conference Center. Website: www.oceanbaychapter.com Contact: Dennis Jolicoeur, (email djolicoeur@oceanbaychapter.com)

HOWEVER, I did not see a listing for it in the "What's Happening" section of the June Turning Wheels that was delivered yesterday.

If you want to venture north, the Crossroads Zone Meet is being held July 18-20 in St. Catherines, Ontario (near Niagara Falls).

We did that show in Sturbridge last year. Just tryong to find out about this year. Tradition is that if the Ocean Bay hosts it one year the Nutmeg chapter hosts it the next. Have not seen any posting fromm the Nutmeg chapter.

OOPS! [B)] I did not even look at the year. It may be time for someone to remove the outdated information from the website. I do not see a website for the Nutmeg Chapter, but you might try e-mailing the Newsletter Editor Alan Perlot @ aperlot1951@aol.com. Sorry for the confusion.

The Nutmeg chapter is indeed the host chapter this year. We are going back to Enfield where we were three years ago. Check our new website for the dates. www.nutmeg-sdc.com BTW, we have a new editor. That info is on the website, too.

That's strange. They list us under Rhode Island? If you go to the CT link it has the correct info.

It's fixed now, thanks to Bob Shaw.
