    You mean the "Dongfeng Mengshi?"
GM would have to watch their step with so much to lose from messing with China. That seems to be the fastest growing area in the world right now along with India.

We should also point out that GM does a lot of business in China.
Their Chinese built Buicks are selling very well.

Bill, the American Auto Industry we still have visions of in our old heads, is no more. American Axle is happily taking a 10-dollar an hour pay cut to keep their jobs within these shores. The "free enterprize" system is freely gutting American brand names and handing the bread and butter jobs to workers overseas whenever possible.

Miscreant Studebaker nut in California's central valley.

No deceptive flags to prove I'm patriotic - no biblical BS to impress - just ME and Studebakers - as it should be.

Last year more Buicks were sold in China than the U.S.
Who would have thought that 30 years ago?
          It's getting weird out there!

This weekend was "holiday"-3-day long weekend in most of Canada, commonly known as the May "2-4" weekend. That refers to the timing - held on the Monday before May 24th - AND the libations used by many for the first long weekend of the "summer".

Anyway. the hamburgers were off the BBQ and on our plates. The condiments appropriatly placed and the first mouthful was DELISH! BUT I almost spit it out when I happened to see the printing on the bottle of green pickle (I hope)relish the we had just bought locally. THE RELISH BOTTLE READ: MADE IN INDIA!!!!

GOOD GOD! Do we have to import hamburger relish? Can we not make anything for ourselves any more ? I'm frustrated and disgusted.
