  • Whatizzit Hawk on eBay

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1955-...spagenameZWDVW

What do you think we see here? Listed as 1955-56, but has later turn signals in the side grilles, maybe GT wheel opening trim, bucket seats, could be GT taillights and rear quarter stainless. Might have been a nice mild custom at one time.

My guess is that it WAS a 1959-1960 Silver Hawk/Hawk, Wheel Opening mouldings were Std. on 1960, Tail lights and fender top mouldings are from a GT Hawk and of course fins have been removed.

The grille, front clip and trunk lid look original to the car, making me think that.

It is still POSSIBLE that the central BODY is a '55 or '56, just not likely, since you could buy a '59 or '60 Hawk when that car was last touched for pretty cheap since they were always the bottom of the desirability chain for Hawks.
