I went with Tom Covington to the drags yesterday, and he had a very good day. He broke several of his records. A month ago he broke into the 10 seconds, and yesterday he beat that time.
He did three runs and each one got better. The first run a tube from the waste gate had fallen off and he only got 8 pounds of pressure from his turbo, but he fixed that and by the third run he was getting 13 pounds.
He is running a 298 cubic inch Studebaker engine.
