Again ebay has an AM/FM radio listed. The seller says it came out of a 63 Avanti. I notice it also has black push buttons, same as the last one listed on ebay. The A/C number for this one is given as 3500. Is that A/C number found in the parts books anywhere? What year is it for?

There is no 63 Avanti AM/FM, but AC 3500 is correct for a 64 Avanti. Here's the list:

So is that a real 1966 AC-3500 AM/FM radio for earlier applications, or a push button, vinyl dyed, '64? The above link from JDP correctly says '64 Avanti only, so it sounds strange and the way prices have been on those it should be checked out carefully by any buyer. Thanks for the info, nels..

No 1963 Studebakers came from the factory with an AM/FM radio. The radio for sale, without seeing pictures, is probably a 1966 Lark-type radio.
