  • Dimple Plastic Seat Covers

    My newly arrived Daytona wagon has dimple plastic seat covers from the, I assume (and we all know what that word stands for), manufacturer. They are slipped inbetween the upholstry and seat back so tight I'm having trouble getting them out. Should I just cut them away, or start yanking? The upholstry in the back seat is just beautiful. It looks new. I suppose they had these covers on the front seats originally. Unfortuneately, they're gone and the seat is coming apart. But at least the back seat is really nice.

    So my question is this;
    Actually two questions.

    First; how should I go about removing these covers? They are being stubborn and I'm afraid of getting too rough with them. I don't want to damage the back seat. It's in such nice condition.

    Second; how should I clean this... I guess it's vynal? Hopefully I'll be able to get the front seat done up in like kind and quality.

    This stuff is so nice. It's a rose colour with brown in it. I think the company called this colour Rose Mist? The seating areas are white banded panels. Nice stuff.

    Lotsa Larks!
