    Hey. Matt, nice work on the rocker panel. Your seat belt mounting has me a bit concerned. Is that belt bolted into the seat? I would suggest a floor mount.

        I bet that was something the PO did. Not much worse than the original location where Stubaker placed that side of the belts...

        That does look like a great job with the rockers. In my years of enjoying Studebaker, I cannot count how many cars with replacement rockers that look weird because they were not straight across the bottom.

            It came to us that way. Don't worry, we'll change it.

            The factory seat belt location was on the DOORS in '56. [:0]

                I guess it was an effective way of keeping the door from swinging open if the latch wasn't working correctly.
                At least it would have torn free in a major accident (with those screws holding it on...) allowing the occupants to be safely removed from the accident. [B)]
