    This one

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/_W0QQ...QQcmdZViewItem

I got this when I asked about the engine and 4 wheel disk brakes:

    "Hi,
Where are you from? The price I want for the car is $9,800. The transaction will be made through eBay company for the safety of both of us ,so we can be sure of the legitimacy of our deal. I'm a serious seller and a fair trader and I prefer to deal only with a serious buyer. If you want to buy the car, send me your full name and delivery address and eBay Motors will contact you with all the details regarding this transaction ( shipping and payment details ). Read the terms and if you agree we will complete the deal asap because I want to donate the money to a children foundation.
I am waiting for your email.
    Thank you,
    Dale"

That car has been on eBay several times. I saved a picture of it months ago.

It's been a while, was really hot and heavy last summer!!!!
Course the location of the car has changed.....If I'm not
mistaken, "Vegas Paul", on this forum, knows the real owner
        of the car.

Might be time to hammer it with unrealistic bids. That'll keep him busy

My next Studebaker is in the future, but now getting my hair messed up in a Sebring ragtop!
Almost as fun as a Studebaker!

Well, I knew the real owner when he was offering to "really" sell it on eBay, about 1 1/2 years ago. He did sell it, and that's where this bogus seller got the pictures, since they are exactly the same photos that my acquaintance used on the legitimate posting. I'm pretty certain that the buyer of the car is not the bogus seller, and that someone just copied the sales info.

This one does come up often, almost as often as the little red 50 convertible with the V6 in it! (that one's bogus too!)
