  • Any Connecticut Studebaker Owners?

    Hi.

I'm looking for someone in Connecticut who knows Studebakers well and can assess the condition and value of a 1951 Studebaker Champion.

My father left it to my mother when he died about four years ago. The car has been run a number of times since just to keep it from going bad. Otherwise its been sitting in my mom's garage in Central Connecticut.

My mother now wants to sell it to someone who loves Studebakers, because it was my dad's prized possession. She'd like me to help her sell it.
The exterior is fully restored. The interior is original. I don't know how much has been done to it mechanically, but it runs.

I'm looking for someone who can give me a better idea of what it should be sold for, and what kind of condition its in mechanically. I'd be happy to pay for the person's time. I'm here in CT visiting my mom through Thursday, and will be back Monday and Tuesday of next week.

Know anyone you can connect me with?

    Thanks!
