The 50 Commander was a similar design to all of the 51 and later suspension.
The actual answer to your question is 1951. There were subtle changes over the years, like rubber A arm bushings in 1953 and new king pins in 1962, but the basic front suspension dates from 1951.Last edited by RadioRoy; 07-16-2019, 10:24 AM.
