Even the renderings Trump is holding up and stating "Here's your new Air Force One"?

Even the ones in the Fox News article Jeff links to in the OP?

No Dick. Clark is referring to these terrible renderings by the USA Today staff. Take a look at this link for the pictures.

The pictures the President is holding up look great and better represent the USA than the current baby blue version.

Thanks. I saw no mention of USA Today in this thread. I figured we were talking about the pictures in Jeff's initial post. My bad.

I should have been clearer. I was referring to the screen grab in this post.

Maybe more like the 80's Delta.

AAL was mainly all polished Aluminum to save weight..

However, I don't mind the new color scheme. What bugs me is the 747 is not 100% American made, and much of the standard software is developed in foreign countries. I'm sure the special sauce software is all classified and made in the USA.

While USAToday had this.. (my preference ..)

            Its already been done.. (1947-1953)

Ah... That video featured the L1011, perhaps the best designed post war commercial plane period... Thanks for posting it!

Last commercial airplane Lockheed ever made as well..

They have "civilized" the the C-130, which really doesn't count, since it was developed in 1954, L-1011 was 1970..

Nor does any of the acquired "Sikorsky" commercial helicopters.

Hard to believe the C-130 was developed in 1954 and still is a top freighter.
