In my local paper today, looks like it was in South Bend's paper a few days ago.....

The project has been a long time coming.

Too bad it won't be in place for the May meet. I'll have to wait another year to see it.

I'd love to know at what point electric fountains became commonplace. I have to imagine in 1906 it was the first one a lot of people had ever seen. Are there any links to news articles about when it was turned on for the first time?

        At least it's being restored.

Unfortunately, some early 1900's Studebaker edifices and artifacts are now lost forever, like the Piquette Avenue plant in Detroit.

Torched by an arsonist while being restored, there's a few before, during and after the fire pics on the net.

Was it an arsonist? Or squatters attempting to stay warm?
