    This topic makes me wonder....

Would any normal GM parts supplier of obsolete and NOS stuff have 50 NOS mid 60s short blocks? The article didn't say if these were 6s or V8s but no matter.

I bought a NOS fuel pump for my '66 Cruiser v8 from SI. The ones available locally for a 283 did not fit without lifting the engine.

I guess I'm a 'no one needs' with a 66 Cruiser that has the 230, or 'Dentist' engine. In fact, I purchased a NOS Rochester BV Carb from S.I. within the last 2 years. Friends can't believe such a parts trove exists today. I am glad the Chev.6 specialist at 12 bolt bought the lot - Now folks looking for actual NOS engine parts for their Camaro's can actually get NOS, not aftermarket! All because Studebaker had the best parts distribution in SASCO. Now, If I could only find a good used set of interior door panels!
