(Rant) Turning Wheels Magazine - "New Format"

This thread made me think that it was about time that I chimed in on how much Turning Wheels has meant to me over the years. I've been a relatively "quiet" member since 1974, and have enjoyed TW for all 45 of those years. I've kept them in binders in my office until a downsizing three years ago forced me to choose between my model collection and the TW's. The models won out, helped in large part by the cool new flash drive that has everything on it. So, thank you to all who have done an amazing job over the years. TW is a trusted old friend welcomed into my home each month. The new version is the best yet. Thank you!

I agree that Turning wheels is always looked forward to around this place .. I think that its value far exceeds the price of membership. I often give mine to a prospective member, but have always wished to have a post card or something of the like that a prospective member could send in and receive an issue delivered to them.. I don't know what this would cost but if it was reasonable I buy half a dozen or so of them just to hand out to someone who expressed some interest.. Might be a way to get some new members. Ya don't HAVE to own 27 Studebakers to enjoy learning something new every month in TW. ha ha DMc

How'd we go this long without one?


I'd still like to see some 'landscape' photos once in awhile, though.
Why not put one on an inside cover, or somewhere else within the magazine?

I get a lot of my news and information on the internet these days, but I still look forward to each new issue of Turning Wheels. It never disappoints.
