I see it says 1953 Studebaker Starliner couple. Must be because it was made from a couple Studebakers.

I think that it might be this car, that was in Motor Trend 1954 October issue, where the readers were asked to choose their favorite custom out of some ten candidates. Tail fins in that style back in 1954 were pretty advanced. Even though not something what I would have done.

These Kustoms were not designed to please everyone when they were built and they don't please everyone today...kind of the same for most stock Studebakers They are as much a part of our automotive history and heritage, however. I appreciate them for what they are, not what they aren't.
