  • To all three of us 56 wagon owners

Have been trying to find the small metal trim that fits below the fins on my wagon for two years. I finally called CE and asked about the hawk strips he is selling that is so so hard to bend and install. I just recieved a set that turn out to be the exact same trim as the hawk. Now here is kinda the good news. The wagon is a shorter piece so he had some ends that were damaged and he sold them to me at a discount. So all(maybe 3) of us who need these may want to get a set as he says once he sells out he will not repo them as they are really tough to bend for the hawks and have not been a big seller. (Wagons are straight). Just a fun fact on a cross over part.

For you '56 wagon owners, there is a taillight housing on eBay right now.

Hey, all three of you, plus other wagon owners thru 1962's, we (Champ Specialty Parts) are on the verge of reproducing the rubber used in the fixed rear side window. What is the interest? Should run about $2.50 per foot. Would appreciate feedback to help push the boss to the decision.

Sorry if I'm a bit dense (A part of my nature {blush}), but who's CE? I do need these strips. Mine are shot. You're talking about that thin metal strip that covers the seam where the fibreglass and body join, right?

                            Studeclunker, Yes that's the ones.

Russ, count me in if a 56 2 door wagon uses these. It has been so long since I took the car a part I don't remember if mine are fixed. I know one window slides.
