    I suppose today, it may be, but back then, railroad crossings used a similar swinging, or semaphore signalling device, so it may not have appeared 'funny' when new.

    Don't think so. There are at least 12 separate parts involved plus the two glass lens. The price to replicate just the barrel lens would be more than anyone would want to pay. Then of course you would have the expense of the plating etc.

    This would be a good project for those wanting to reproduce parts using a 3D printer. Might even be profitable.

    I have 7 Wig Wags. The ad posted by Bob in response #5 above was "borrowed" from the one I posted here a few years ago. I have all the original documentation on this accessory (AC-370) including original installation instructions. 5 pages of patent information etc. See images below.
