  • Identify this trim please.

We have two pieces of stainless trim here we have not identified. They are probably for a K body, but we are not sure. Anyone recognize these?

Looks like early K 1/4 window trim, exterior. Trim is hard to tell from just 2 pics.

I would 2nd that opinion. Those snap or friction fit to the C pillar roof pinch weld at the rear of the qtr window.

Thanks. That was the only place I could imagine them fitting.

That FLAT backside has me puzzled!

The shape is almost correct for a C or K, but closer to a Sedan. BUT, I don't see those being a Box section and Flat on the Back in that location. I think we need to think a bit more out of the Box!

It can't fit BOTH a "C" AND a "K", no way. But I don't think it is either. How about a '56 Desoto Hardtop?

I guess we will just have to bring them to South Bend in May.

53 K. They fit in the pinch weld at the rear quarter. They frame out the sheet metal pocket that houses the window.
