I should be finished with the interior next week. Some of the pieces are coming in now. Very happy with it. The guy does a great job. Very thorough. I will add more pics as the pieces come together.

Should have the interior mainly in by Friday. I still need to make the kickpanels, rear panels and install the carpet. The upholstery guy makes all the piping for the seats and windlace from the interior material. It then matches well. Picked up the rest of the interior today. He installed the headliner and made and installed the windlace. I just need to make the rear and kick panels and install the carpet and she will be good to go.

He used a combination of your technique and his experience. I printed up everything that you wrote down and gave it to him and it came in very handy. Thanks. No it’s not original. But it looks really good And look better when I take pictures of it being in the light instead of in the garage. It is all the original trim pieces throughout the car and door panels. So the look of the trim is correct. The car will eventually become a darker metallic gray color. That will be a nice fit for the interior.51 Studebaker Starlight State Commander Coupe
