  • post Florence recovery

    just getting back to normal
I am just south of Wilmington and the eye passed right over me
Luckily the Skyhawk and C-Cab survived unscathed
power was out for a week but on now
most damage to home and and trees very minor
VERY sad I missed TriState meet on Maggie Valley
Been going for over 30 years and missed 2 because of Hurricanes

Rick, glad you and Melinda are ok. Michele and I didn't get to Tri-State either, made decision based on the weather info from Friday morning, but Florence moved much slower so we could have gone.

Rick, you probably know this.......but the Eastern Carolina Chapter is having a 2-day meet in Rocky Mount in early November. I'm going to see if I can get set up to attend. Looks like it will be a good meet, especially since we missed Tri-State.
