Seem to remember the son of a Central Texas Chapter member who was driving a T-Cab on I-35 in Central Texas. Truck in front didn't just kick up a stone or rock - kicked up a brick. Needless to say - windshield was toast. He was lucky it did not go through the grill and punch a hole through the radiator...

He was even luckier that it didn't go through the windshield and hit him in the face, seriously injuring or killing him.

With lots of superfine wiper scratches in my windshields, I wouldn't mind an insurance company paying for a new windshield but, I would hate to lose my original inspection stickers (1976 in my '51 and 1958 in my '33).

Thanks Steve. I am within a few days of getting tires for my 8E7, and had decided on 225R7515 light truck tires (using 6" wide Chevy wheels). The tires on your orange truck look 'right', and validates my size choice.
