Some engine, and frame pics of my latest project. Almost finished with the running gear. The body is coming along too. I hope to be in primer by the end of the month.Click image for larger version

Not necessarily.....I have seen many bellhousings painted with numbers other than the body number, or serial number. The engine number does match the production order.

Usually it is the "Line Number" on the Car and Truck Line. On the Avanti line, maybe.

So you can put all that engine stuff on without affecting the body drop but not the supercharger is that correct ?

Right, It is tight, but it's possible if you take it really slow, I also support the body on the hog troughs with the arms of the lift unlocked. I can shift the body up to two inches side to side as it is lowered. It only has to line up with the body mounts during the last inch and a half of the lowering. Also the frame is on wheels and tires able to roll back and forth. ( Go-Jacks also help). Theore support has to be mounted to the body before the drop, as you can't put it in after the drop.
