The scenario in the prior thread cited was a bit of speculation by me, based on the events in society when the last Packard was a used car. Brian, the club member I mentioned having seen it surviving in a private collection, is a reliable source not given to overstatement. We simply have to wait for it to be revealed to the collector car community at large.

    Added 7-25-2018:

Well, here we are, sixty years ago today the last Packard automobile drove off the assembly line during the course of the workday. Commemorate this anniversary in whatever way is most meaningful to you, perhaps a drive in your Packard to a favorite scenic location with family and friends.

Are you able to post some photos of it?

Welcome to the forum, Diego! It is nice to know that one of the Packard pickup trucks has survived. These were originally Studebaker pickups that were ordered by a Packard dealer in Buenos Aires, but subsequently cancelled because he was not able to obtain a license to import Studebakers. They eventually were produced in 1958 as Packard pickups, perhaps the only ones in the world. There is a bit more information on these trucks in chapter 12 of this history: https://studebakerdriversclub.com/wp...ker-Trucks.pdf

What model is your truck? It should be something like 3E=7 or 3E12. Good luck with your truck!

Harrahs had the Hawk #588 years ago, I don't know where it ended up after that collection sold.

I think you may not be able to post pictures until you have a certain number of posts (anti-spam). But I can tell you everyone here wants to see that truck!

So what happened to the Original Topic: The last Packard CAR?

Still no reliable word on the status of the Last Packard, the Mountain Blue '58 Packard Sedan 58L-8134 ?

ID:	1890222 Very interesting discussion on a cool truck!! This popped up on Instagram yesterday, coming out of Argentina. Claims to be a 1962 with a V8 engine.

Those "Screen Shot" views from a Cell Phone do not play well here, as you can see clicking it just makes it smaller, a Real JPG Picture (Image) will work.
