Los Angeles to Tacoma

Is there a transport going to Tacoma and back from LA or did it end up being too expensive? We are looking at taking 2 cars somehow.

In the somewhat recent past I have heard numbers L.A. to the Northwest like $800.00 open trailer per car, but with Fuel over $3.00 probably not now.

I wonder WHO was planning this?

I had done some sleuthing, thinking that if we were to get 6 cars to make a round trip or a dozen to go one way (half drive up, the other half drive back) or some combination that would fill the truck, the bid came back at $1,600.00 per car each way. Also, the delivery day could be a day late. That was from Reliable, Interstate was booked solid with Pebble Beach and Passport supposedly doesn't go to Washington State.

When I proposed those numbers with the Avanti guys, there wasn't much interest. For that kind of money, I can make the drive from Pasadena.
