  • Another Lazy S user

Don't know if any of you have seen this "Lazy S" logo used by an Italian company that designs, produces and markets aftermarket performance cooling fans and blowers for multiple engine uses. They are SPAL Automotive USA. More than just a stylistic resemblance, like the old Pepsi logo or the Korean flag, this is remarkably like Studebaker's. The difference is that theirs S is tilted, top leaning slightly to the right. Coloring is red and white. That's it! SPAL has been around since 1959. I don't know when Studebaker started to use this S in a circle logo and who claimed to have designed it for them. Did Lowery and Stevens both design logos? Sorry I don't know how to copy and paste and all that good stuff but just google it and see for yourself.

Jake Robinson Kaywell: Shoo-wops and doo-wops galore to the background of some fine Studes. I'm eager and ready to go!

1962 GT Hawk - "Daisy-Mae" - she came dressed to kill in etherial green with a charming turquoise inside. I'm hopelessly in love!
