  • Need left rear quarter window for '54 K model

    Hello group,

I need a left rear quarter window for our '54 Commander Starliner hardtop. When I was buffing the one from our car, the buffing wheel caught the weather seal channel on the front edge and ripped it off. (Hey Lark, have you ever done that?) To be honest, it was already loose, so I know the spot welds weren't all that good. Figuring it would be easier (if not less expensive) to buy a replacement than to try and find someone local who can spotweld stainless, I contacted Wisconsin Studebaker as they used to advertise them for $35 (with tinted glass) in Turning Wheels. After 2 e-mails and one phone call, I still don't have a total price and a mailing address. If anyone out there has a spare window that they'll sell me (or someone who can put a good word in for me at Wisconsin Studebaker because I really need a window in the car), I'd appreciate hearing from you.

    Kindest regards,

I don't think the ones Wisconsin Studebaker advertised were for hardtops...

                    Hello group,

Thanks to Klif, I now have the window I need (plus a spare for the right). Studebaker owners are THE BEST!
