  • A Worse-for-Wear Wagon

Alright, I found another excellent project wagon available for anyone. I believe it is of the Parkview (Commander-type) designation but I cannot say for certain. In any case it appears to be a solid enough driver or light project. If you are in need of an interesting Stude that isn't so painfully sparse as the Scotsman I showed not too long ago, this may be the one for you!

Jake Robinson Kaywell: Shoo-wops and doo-wops galore to the background of some fine Studes. I'm eager and ready to go!

1962 GT Hawk - "Daisy-Mae" - she came dressed to kill in etherial green with a charming turquoise inside. I'm hopelessly in love!

    Actually...

The car in the ad is a Provincial.
A Parkview only has two doors.

Here's (a bad) photo featuring one of each~

This was shot back when the Bells still had a Provincial in their collection.
The Parkview is mine. She's been in my Family for about 55 years.

Thanks for the information. Now, what do you think about the car? Suit your fancy?

I think I'll have to pass this time.

Hopefully Don K. sees that ad though.
I *think* it's his old car....

Was Nels looking for a Provincial or a Parkview? Maybe he has seen this, if not I hope he hears about it. Bill

Thanks for thinking of me, Bill. My real hope is to find a 56 wagon and preferably the President series.

This wagon is bugging the carp out of me. I really like it, but have an Avanti getting rewired, the 56 wagon waiting for the rain to stop so I can put it on the road, and my 54 Coupe waiting for the 289 4 speed transplant to put it back on the road as well. I can't believe 3 cars can keep me soooo busy when I used to have up to 15 cars coming and going at any one time. Sheesh. I should have retired like everyone else I know.

I think that the car once belonged to a friend. He sold it with the understanding that it was to be restored. That was twenty years ago, nothing seems to have been done. I think the the car appeared within the last year or so. It may have been for sale, but I can't remember. I'll try to verify that it's the same car.
