    Thinking maybe I should convert the 62 hawk I'am building for resale to right hand drive. Those Englishman where pretty smart. They put the wheel over on the side where the door opens and closes nice and the window regulator still work even after 50-60 years. Plus the headlight always seems to shine a little better on that side and the wiper cleans the rock bruise free side of the windshield better than the left.

        Changing over to RHC (as Studebaker called it) would also be helpful for practicing driving on the left before taking a trip to Britain, Ireland, Australia, or NZ.

            Funny, I was just looking at that yesterday. Unlike many cars that are quite east to flip LHC to RHC or vice versa, the Stude has many pieces that are distinctly one or the other, so a bunch ot RHC parts would need to be sourced, the dash and firewall for instance. It is possible though. I flipped a couple MG's (super easy) and a Model T in years passed.

              We did a conversion on a 1960 Morris Minor drophead many years ago. Also wasn’t much to it as instrument cluster is mounted in center of the dash. And if my old mind hasn’t erased a few details...all we changed was the steering rack?

                It's no sweat driving a left-hand drive Studebaker in the UK. But, if you really wanted to flip to RHC, you'd best make contact with Chris Skinner in Australia - just search for him on Facebook and Studebaker, you'll quickly bump into him. He's a fountain of knowledge for this type of conversion and could possible assist with correct parts too.

                As there was mention of a Morris 1000, thought this photo might be appreciated...
