  • I'm looking for one or the other of these latches ( n.o.s. )

    Right front passenger side 53 - 55 sedan # 306280 - or - right front passenger side 56,57 sedan # 1312262
    I'm wanting a nice clean one,as I already have a rusty one from poor storage !

    I don't understand how you could use EITHER a Door Latch designed to fit the 4 Screw '47-'55 Type Striker OR, one for a 3 Screw 1956-1966 Type completely different Striker.

    Wouldn't all the Locations be off?
    They are both $80.00 each, but maybe you were looking to get them from someone cleaning out their Garage excess.

      Rich, I was just going by what the SI catalog shows for #/latch break down. I've mixed matched latches from year to year before with no issues,so planned on the same again. as far as strikers vs. latch I don't think it matters at all. what locations are You talking of

        I was just concerned about the Rotary Cog VS the Striker fit.
        After the total redesign of BOTH pieces, would the Rotary Gear even be the same shape?
