I am looking for a truck box for a 2R5 pick up for a friend . Would like it to be in decent shape would like it close to Winnipeg if possible . His tailgate and fenders are OK but box damaged be falling tree , can be repaired with a lot of work and knowledge . Anyone have one , please email me at not4u@nlis.ca photos would be nice . Thanks

I think a 2R5 only came in a 6 1/2 Ft. Shortbed, but it would not hurt to ask to be sure it is not a newer model or modified with an 8 Ft. one.

You will also need to tell him to get a '49 to '55, because the width is wider on 1956 to '61 P1 Boxes.

I sometimes see them for sale on Craigslist as they are used for pickup bed trailers.

Here is an ad for one currently on Minneapolis Craigslist, one can likely be found closer to home. They are usually sitting out behind old farmsteads next to the scrap machinery.

The only Studebaker box I have to sell is a long Dodge-type bed from a Champ. It might look interesting behind an R cab.

ID:	1716840 Actually it's my '63 Champ 8E12 3/4 Ton frame and Box with a '57? Transtar "C" Cab, close enough.
This was in Boise, ID picking it up.

Probably one or two listed in the P1 box register.
