  • Reedsville Swap Meet October 27 and 28 Any Information Available?

The Reedsville Swap Meet for October 27 and 28, 2017 is listed in the What's Happening Section of Turning Wheels and says to look for posters in TW but as far as I can see no other information or advertising has appeared in TW or elsewhere for this event. Is it going to happen? I would hate to drive several hours only to find an empty fairgrounds.

I hope it's still happening. Unless I hear otherwise I'm packing the truck and heading that way to set up.

I know that it is in What's Happening. I was advised that the poster would be going to Ann Turner. Apparently, it didn't. I am just checking my files both email and hard copy and will advise shortly.

Here is the answer as I have found out. I gleaned the meet information from a chapter newsletter. Usually, it is sent to me by John Cohoe. But not this year. I will check a bit further and again get back on this one.

I do know that the site is booked until october 2019. Someone is meeting with Max today and we will then know for sure. As I said earlier, we are checking on this one.

            ZZZZZZZZ Crickets!
I guess whomever was meeting with Max must have bad news or be MIA? Though Reedsville has pretty much become a vendor to vendor swap, I am planning on attending but not vending. I missed last year due to a family trip to the Sunshine State to visit a famous rodent. Hope Max is ok.

I'll be vending too. Anyone have a particular '20's or '30's parts that I should try to bring along?

I will be there with a whole lot of 53/54 sheet metal (hoods, trunk lids, front fenders, rear fenders, air deflectors, hard top doors, etc etc etc. including some NOS).
