  • Power steering cyl.

I'm still gathering parts for this weekend. This time, I have a power steering cylinder, part #1551362. In original box. The cylinder is marked Bendix. Anyone know what years this is for?

Alan, what book are you referring to? I was trying to find it in the S.I. Catalog. I don't have any Avanti manuals. Will it fit any other Studebaker? Hawk? Sedan?

Here's a back side picture. Same truck...different camera...different color filters...lousy back-lighting angle. It is now a '55 Studebaker "Pedal Truck." Complete with dual wall bed, & operating tailgate.

Thanks Skip...any idea of its value? NOS or not, would you think it would need a seal kit by now?

Having had NO use, I would trust it until 5-10 years after installation, when it leaks and needs a New Seal.

Pretty good trick, turning a Blue Truck Photo into it's actual Color... GREEN!

Not in my skill set. I sold a good used one for about $125 a couple of years ago.
