The gear selector lever for a floor-shift Flight-o-matic is 1543775 The "kick-down" as you call it, is 1541015 but it's no different than the one for the column shift arrangment.

I don't think that I have ever seen a FOM with a floor shift. The 1543775 would be the selector arm for use with the Powershift transmission. I suppose that it could be used with the FOM, though. But, if the Powershift linkage and shifter are used, they would be the wrong pattern (PRND21 vs PNDLR), and the button-operated lockout for reverse would be in the wrong place. The neutral safety switch wouldn't work properly, nor would the back-up light switch.

Has anyone successfully adapted a FOM to floor shift? How was the shifter adapted?
