It would have been a lot better if they could have found the correct '64 Moulding and covered the correct half though!Originally posted by JRoberts View PostIs the rose mist paint with the red or maroon partial top a standard combination?
In '64, Black or White Vinyl FRONT Roof halfs were available.StudeRich

Vinyl tops should be renamed "rust magnets".......StudeRich;1070431]It would have been a lot better if they could have found the correct '64 Moulding and covered the correct half though!

That was true of GM, Ford and Chrysler Products, but NOT Studebakers!Originally posted by Lou Van Anne View PostVinyl tops should be renamed "rust magnets".
You would have to have a serious salt air or road salted Stude. or some other reason for extreme moisture to rust out a Roof under a Stude. Vinyl Top.
They were the BEST installed of ANY I have seen, no air bubbles under them and well glued with a high quality product, many '65 Sports Sedans have surviving Vinyl Tops AND their Roofs even TODAY, you don't see THAT on a brand "X" after 52 Years.StudeRich
