Just keep in mind that NO Trucks used a Long Tail Transmission, as do 1958 to 1966 Stude. Cars.
So some kind of very creative Driveline Mods need to be done which of course HAVE BEEN done by others, depending on if a Long Bed (122 W/B) or Short Bed (112 W/B) Truck (Easier) is involved.
With the proper Engine mount BRACKETS from a Truck, a 1956 or '57 Car Engine and short tail Flight-O-Matic Trans. would be a much easier swap into a 6 or 8 Cyl. Truck.StudeRich
